This painting is a class project in which I created an 10x8 collage from magazine clippings; then using a grid system, as a muralist would do when enlarging, I sketched the images onto a 30x24 canvas. When painting my collage composition, I focused on color matching with the original collage. The images relate to a surreal moment in where unlikely creatures begin new friendships.
