This painting was my final project, where I was given the task to make a feeling into a painting. I decided to focus on how it feels to dance, and made a painting with 5 different figures that represent how I feel when I dance, and how I’ve felt in group pieces that I’ve performed in before. Each figure represented a different aspect of this emotion. I used a green canvas on top of a black canvas to really present a stage, and how that effect of a stage feels. This abstract style combined with a passion for colors, led to bright colors, detailed figures and surroundings.
