David, Mijango, Ice Storm, 2020

The main subject of the design is a spiral sculpture that surrounds the body of my daughter and represents a storm. Her cape is a castle that represents her dreams and goals. I like my design because I was able to incorporate the different techniques and skills that I have learned so far in this class. I found many challenges and obstacles when trying to achieve all the requirements especially working on a body of a 4 year old child. The contort of the design restricts many of her natural movements such as running, jumping, raising her arms all the way up, but even with all those restrictions she loved the project.
