I shaped the body of the teapot, added the spout and body handles, then threw the lid. I formed the handle by rolling ropes of clay and joining in a Y shape. The handle and top body of the pot were imprinted with a rock. The lid was chattered. Stencils in wax were applied around the body of the pot. After firing at cone 10 with MD shino glaze, I connected the handle to the body with copper wire.
