For this portrait I took of my Grandfather, I used a few DIY techniques with lighting around my apartment. I simply used the flash on my iPhone for a side light to shadow the whole right side of his face. And then for a little extra light and detail I used this cheap $5 flashlight I had and had my grand father point it upwards towards his face to give this whole portrait a dark and sinister look.
