This piece was for a class project where we explored the use of repetition in sculpture. I used a plaster mold to cast seven wax pill bottles, including one orange-pigmented pill bottle. I hung the wax bottles from inside the umbrella based on a similar drawing I did when I was a teenager. I hot-glued clear pill capsules onto the umbrella to get a dripping rain effect. I miss this class!!
