Job Summary

Under the direction of management, monitors and enforces neighborhood and campus parking regulations. Researches DMV records, cross-references data, and takes appropriate corrective action. Assists students, staff, and other customers with parking accounts and educations them on options available. Maintains and monitors parking database to ensure accounts stay up to date, apply holds, and transfer balances.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Researches warnings issued to vehicles in PCC neighborhoods and cross reference vehicle data with State and PCC databases to ensure neighborhood violations belong to students or staff.
  2. Researches citations issues to vehicles on campus using state, local, and private databases to attain a responsible agent then perform collection activity through the generation of Customer Statement of Account and place holds on student and staff accounts.
  3. Generates, reviews, and reconciles financial reports. Receives, records, and/or tracks incoming payments receipts and make proper distribution of records and funds. Researches and resolve discrepancies and makes proper accounting distribution.
  4. Coordinates and monitors neighborhood enforcement activities and provides guidance to classified employees for all neighborhood enforcement issue and questions.
  5. Independently decides when to initiate formal letters, citations, and notices for neighborhood violations based on analysis of customer’s account.
  6. Processes, creates, and maintains residency data for neighbors participating in PCC’s neighborhood program. Creates and maintains neighborhood citation database to track hold dates and reinstatement dates.
  7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Work is generally performed in an office setting. May be exposed to a video display for long periods. Work pressure and interruptions occur on an ongoing basis.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience, including one year of experience working with a complex database. College or business school training may be substituted for up to two years of the experience requirement.
