Oregon Pathways
PCC reports progress data for the fall cohort of entering first time in college students as part of the Oregon Pathways Project. Each cohort is tracked through a set of one-year key performance indicators (KPIs) called Early Momentum Metrics. These cohorts and KPIs are similar but not identical to PCC’s defined YESS momentum points and those in the Postsecondary Data Partnership.
Ten cohorts of PCC’s Oregon Pathways KPIs disaggregated by race/ethnicity are displayed in the following dashboards with KPI definitions listed below each.

Earned 36+ college credits in year 1 | Earned 36 or more college-level (i.e., non-developmental) credits (with grade A-C or P) in first academic year. |
Earned 45+ college credits in year 1 | Earned 45 or more college-level (i.e., non-developmental) credits (with grade A-C or P) in first academic year. |
Completed college math in year 1 | Attempted and passed at least one college level (i.e., non-developmental) math course (with grade A-C or P) in the first academic year. |
Completed college English in year 1 | Attempted and passed at least one college level (i.e., non-developmental) English course (with grade A-C or P) in the first academic year. |
Completed college English and math in year 1 | Attempted and passed at least one college level (i.e., non-developmental) course (with grade A-C or P) in both math and English in the first academic year. |
Persisted from fall to winter | Enrolled in at least one credit-bearing course (including remedial) in winter term. |
Completed college credits | Number of college-level (i.e., non-remedial) credits completed (with grade A-C or P) by fall cohort students in their first academic year divided by the total number of college-level credits attempted by students in the fall cohort within their first full academic year. |
