Fundamentals in electronic and digital circuits. Instructors need knowledge of material, and ability to teach concepts to students lacking relatable background
- MASTERS OF SCIENCE in physics or engineering
- 3 years industry experience preferred
- Teaching experience is preferred
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject
- BACHELORS OF SCIENCE in physics or engineering
- Industry experience preferred
- Teaching experience is preferred
- Demonstration of teaching competency in related subject
- Two quarters upper division coursework in the subject
- ASSOCIATES OF APPLIED SCIENCE degree required for employment in the semiconductor industry as an equipment technician
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject:
- Able to demonstrate teaching competence in all CCOG topics
MT222
Quality systems used in the semiconductor industry. Instructors need experience in quality systems as used in the semiconductor manufacturing area.
- BACHELORS OF SCIENCE in physics, chemistry or engineering
- Two years recent industry experience in manufacturing process control
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject
MT101, MT102, MT103, MT104, MT200
Processes and procedures used in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Instructors need experience in those processes and procedures.
- MASTERS OF SCIENCE in physics, chemistry or engineering
- Two years recent industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing process engineering
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject, or
- BACHELORS OF SCIENCE in physics, chemistry or engineering with
- Three years recent industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing process engineering
- Demonstration of teaching competency in the subject
MT101, MT 103 and MT 104
Experience in manufacturing processes also allows
- Any college degree in an industry-related field
- Five years recent industry experience in related manufacturing
- Demonstrated teaching ability in related topics
MT 180
High Tech Employment Strategies:
- Any college degree and:
- Additional training related to hiring and employment in manufacturing environments
- Five years recent experience involving hiring in semiconductor manufacturing or a related field
- Knowledge of employment law and current labor and market trends
