Concurrent Enrollment
F-1 international students are able to split their full-time enrollment requirements between multiple SEVP-certified schools, as long as they receive prior authorization and adhere to the rules listed below. The policy below is for F-1 international students who have a Form I-20 issued from PCC. F-1 students who have an I-20 issued by another school must contact the DSO at the school that issued their I-20.
F-1 students who applied for Dual Enrollment (or co-admissions) with another school must follow the policy below.
Eligibility
To qualify for concurrent enrollment, you must be:
- Maintaining F-1 visa status.
- Eligible to take classes at another SEVP-certified school.
- Interested in a class not offered at PCC, or a PCC course that is only offered fully remote or online.
Procedure & Deadline
To apply for concurrent enrollment, you must:
- Submit the SEVIS Request Form for “Concurrent Enrollment” with information about school and course that you will take before the first day of classes of the term for which you are requesting to be concurrently enrolled.
- Upon approval, upload a copy of course registration before the add/drop deadline of the current PCC term (Tuesday of Week 2).
- Upon course completion, upload a copy of course final grade before the first day of the next term.
Additional Information
- Concurrent enrollment requests are not guaranteed and are approved only in limited circumstances, where a course is not available at PCC to satisfy your educational goals or program requirements.
- Concurrent Enrollment is approved for one term at a time.
- Students are required to register for:
- a minimum of 6 credits at PCC
- a minimum of 12 credits total, with 9 credits in-person
- registration can be divided between the two schools that they are concurrently enrolled in.
