This book examines the pervasive, disproportionate, and persistent police and vigilante killings of African Americans in the United States as a racial control mechanism that sustains the racial control system of systemic racism.

This book brings together scholars from different disciplines to shed light on the global/transnational crisis of whiteness. Topics include critical whiteness and race studies, gender studies, cultural studies and social policy.
