I have been working as a librarian in both public and academic libraries since 2002, and as a part-time librarian at PCC since 2011. The information landscape has changed profoundly over the past twenty years, and I’m interested in helping people make sense of that, including encouraging critical thinking in all areas of information-gathering. Our PCC students inspire me to keep learning — not only about librarianship, but also about how to be a better teacher, and a better human. When I am not wearing my librarian hat, I teach yoga and have recently developed a slight obsession with indoor bouldering. I love reading memoir, trying (and usually failing) to keep up with my New Yorker subscription, meditating, and watching the Great British Baking Show with my family.
