What if a community came together to read and discuss a book? This is a long-standing tradition in our community. Each year Multnomah County Library hosts Everybody Reads – an event designed to support and nurture a community conversation about a book. Portland Community College is again joining the conversation as an official partner. This year’s book is Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond.
