Cyber Security Awareness Month

Cyber Security Awareness Month

National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), observed every October by proclamation of President Obama, was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure every American has the resources they need to stay safer and more secure online. Some themes for 2024 include: using multi-factor authentication, recognizing and reporting phishing, and staying safe online when using AI tools.

PCC participates in National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) each year by providing tips and tools for reducing cybersecurity risks and protecting yourself online. Each week during October, the PCC Information Security team will provide Cybersecurity Awareness Month Materials that you can use throughout the year.
