I love everything about libraries, from the dusty books containing the wisdom of the ages to the awesome technology that connects us to the newest information. It is an honor to work in the beautiful PCC Southeast Campus Library in the heart of a thriving educational community. Before working in libraries, I earned advanced degrees in religion and philosophy, with a focus on social ethics. My ethics background is useful every day in libraries, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities of the information age. I am also deeply committed to the movement for climate justice, and am very proud to support Portland Community College’s Climate Action Plan 2021. Outside of libraries, I love exploring Oregon’s wonderful forests and beaches, bicycling, gardening, cooking, traveling with my family, and reading with a cat on my lap.
