Partnership brings learning center to New Columbia
A public-private partnership is propelling the makeover of Columbia Villa into a new type of community and PCC is playing a role. The 60-year-old, low-income housing site bustles with construction activity with its transformation to New Columbia. PCC joins Congressman David Wu to announce higher education plan
PORTLAND, Ore. - On Friday, Feb. 25 Congressman David Wu will announce several pieces of higher education legislation he plans to introduce when he returns to Washington, D.C. next week. PCC gets $193,000 to train ESL instructors
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Grants Office at Portland Community College has announced a $192,475 award from the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development (CCWD). The grant will go toward developing a pool of ESL instructors and industry trainers.
