  • Program start date: July 10, 2025
  • Application period: March 1, 2025 – June 20, 2025
    Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must pass a drug screen, background check, and complete vaccination requirements on the Castlebranch website. (Note: students will incur an ~$200 to create an account. This fee includes cost of background and drug screening exam)
  • Informational session:
    • Date: Saturday, April 5
    • Time: 10:30 – 11:30am
    • Location: CLIMB Center – Room 102
  • AHA BLS CPR course:
    (Available for students who wish to enroll after the informational session.)
Documentation requirements for program consideration
  1. A copy of a current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
    (Must be from the American Heart Association, not the American Red Cross.) See course schedules.
  2. Vaccination or Immunity Documentation
    Reach out to your Medical Provider to gather the following Immunizations listed:
    1. Hepatitis B: Documentation of 3 doses or titer (blood exam) showing positive/reactive results. Alternatively, a confirmation from your medical provider stating immunity.
    2. MMR: Documentation of 2 doses or titer (blood exam) showing immunity.
    3. Varicella: Documentation of 2 doses or titer (blood exam) showing immunity.
    4. TDAP: Vaccination within the last 10 years.
    5. Tuberculosis Testing: PPD test for the current year showing negative results. If positive, a clear chest X-ray is required.
    6. Flu Vaccine: Required for the current season (August 2025 – April 2026. Summer applicants can provide when it’s available.)
    7. COVID-19 Vaccine (Optional): Documentation of two doses.
  3. Order Background check and Drugscreen on CastleBranch Website:
    (note: students will incur an ~$200 to create an account. This fee includes cost of background and drug screening exam)
    1. Order a background check through Castlebranch (within 3 months of the start of program)
    2. Order a drug screening through Castlebranch (within 3 months of the start of program)

      2. Drug Test -eLearning

    1. Copy of High School Completion or GED Certificate (A college or university degree may substitute.)
    2. PCC Non-Credit Registration Form [pdf] (Note: The CRN can be left blank. Please put title of the training: “Sterile Processing Technician” (PDF format. Include a working email address for acceptance notifications.)
