Registered Apprenticeship

Registered Apprenticeship in Oregon helps individuals earn while they learn and obtain a state-issued journey card or license once they have completed all program requirements. Registered apprenticeship programs are governed in Oregon by independent bodies called Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees (JATCs). Although PCC does not run apprenticeship programs, they do partner with several Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees (JATCs) to administer industrial apprenticeship programs registered in the State of Oregon and hold the required courses. These types of apprenticeship programs are employer-sponsored and require applicants to be employed by a participating employer that is registered to train apprentices – or an employer that would like to become registered to train apprentices. PCC partners with the following JATCs that offer apprenticeships in the listed trades:
