  • ISC meeting (Internationalization Steering Committee), Friday, October 11, 12-2pm

  • Internationalization Grant Workshop, October 28 (Monday), 10 – 11am
    This is a special funding opportunity available to both PT and FT faculty. Learn how to add an international component to one of your courses and how to apply for the PCC Internationalization grant ($500). Participation stipend available to the first 20 PT faculty who register and attend the workshop. Register for the Grant Workshop through MyCareer. This workshop is co-sponsored by CTLE.
  • International Speaker Series Event 1 (in-person, Sylvania campus), November 20 (Wednesday), 10 – 11am
    Speaker:  Dr. M. Neelamalar, Professor, Department of Media Sciences, Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Presentation Title: “Regulations for Media in India: An Overview”. This is an in-person event and will be held on the Sylvania campus. Room location TBA. Register for Event 1. Participation stipend available for first 10 PT faculty who register and attend the event. All PCC students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend!
  • International Speaker Series Event 2 (via Zoom), December 3 (Tuesday), 10 – 11am Speaker: Dr. Soksamphoas Im, Associate Director, Asian Studies Center, Michigan State University. Presentation Title: “Debt, Dependency, and Cash Transfers: Evaluating Cambodia’s IDPoor Program and Its Impact on Rural Households”. This event will be held via Zoom. Register to get the Zoom link for Event 2. Participation stipend available for first 10 PT faculty who register and attend the event. All PCC students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend!

Mini-Grants

Add an Internationalization project to one of your classes and receive a $500 mini-grant! Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year are now open and are due on May 1, 2025. Go to the mini-grant page for application information.

Speed Culturing

We have a variety of ways to connect your students with International students, including the traditional Speed Culturing, Zoom Speed Culturing, and Penpals. See the links above for details, and for a link to sign up. Also, check out the  Talk Time Cafe and ESOL Club.
