Introduces automatic transmissions/transaxles, the study of power flow, and diagnosis of automatic transmission mechanical and hydraulic systems. Includes proper rebuild procedures, component identification and dynamometer testing of a student-built automatic transmission. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
