Designed for healthcare providers who participate in cardiopulmonary arrest and have NOT completed an ACLS Course or are expired. Students will learn management of cardiac arrest, symptomatic arrest, symptomatic arrhythmias and more.

The ACLS Provider Course is a 2-day class designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be both a team member and a team leader in either an in-hospital or out-of-hospital setting. This course covers Adult CPR, BVM, Electrical and Pharmacological Therapy during a cardiac arrest. Successful resuscitations are the result of not only medical expertise and mastery of resuscitation skills, but also of effective communication and teamwork. You must have (c2020) ACLS Provider text available at PCC Sylvania Campus bookstore, 971-722-4910) or order direct from shopcpr.heart.org/

You MUST complete the required Pre-Course, with a score of 70% or better. The web site you need to go to: elearning.heart.org/ In the upper right corner you will see (sign in / sign up) to create an account. You will need to Sign Up – this will give you access to the pretest. YES, ECG interpretation skills are required.

If you come unprepared, you will be asked to reschedule.
