Covers setup, applications, parts, and operation of sensitive, upright, and radial arm drill presses. Introduces commonly performed operations of drilling, reaming, counterboring, countersinking, spotfacing, and tapping on various types of drilling machines used to produce part features to print specifications. This course is also offered as APR 160M; a student who enrolls in this course a second time under either designator will be subject to the course repeat policy. Prerequisite: (APR 100M or MCH 100) and (APR 121M or MCH 121). Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
