Introduces major developmental theories and ways humans change and stay the same across the lifespan, from conception to death. Emphasizes cultural and other environmental influences on biological, cognitive, social, and emotional development throughout the lifespan. Although this course maintains a focus on psychology, human development draws information from other academic fields. Recommended: PSY 201A or 202A. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
