Develops knowledge and skills in welding required of a diesel mechanic. Focuses on maintenance and repair applications using FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, CAC-A, OAW, TB, PAC and OAC processes. Prerequisite: Department permission required. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
