Important note: This is an Excel intensive section with additional Excel practice. It is recommended that students who plan on taking BA 216A (Data Analytics) enroll in this section.

No textbook for this class - Course materials are all online including text and videos. We will be using a free online Excel text.
This class introduces Microsoft Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). These programs will also be used to complete assignments related to computer concepts.
The Office 365 suite runs best on a Windows operating system or an Apple MacBook. You can download this software for free by following this link: https://portal.office.com/
Please note that a Google Chromebook is not recommended to use for this class.
This is a fully online Web class so there are no set meeting times and you login to do the work when it suits your schedule. However, while there are no late penalties, each week's work is due every Sunday by 11:59p
There will be optional one-on-one Zoom meetings available for you to ask questions, share your screen if necessary, and communicate via live Zoom video with the instructor. The specific day and time will be arranged individually with each student. Also, feel free to contact me during the course via email with questions or post to the Ask Me discussion topic.

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
