This class introduces Microsoft Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). These programs will also be used to complete assignments related to computer concepts.
The Office 365 suite runs best on a Windows operating system or an Apple MacBook. Microsoft Access does not work on Mac or Linux computers so non-Windows users may need to use Propeller Virtual Desktop program that allows access to a campus lab computer from home. Specific details will be provided in the online class. Please note that a Google Chromebook is not recommended to use for this class.
This is a fully online Web class so there are no set meeting times and you login to do the work when it suits your schedule. However, while there are no late penalties, each week's work is due every Sunday by 11:59p
Also, feel free to contact me during the course via email with questions or post to the Ask Me discussion topic.
