Examines the human and environmental factors shaping world regions. Includes information on spatial patterns of economic development, natural resources, international trade, population and migration, and cultural landscapes. Analyzes each region as part of the larger global community, with specific emphasis on current issues and trends. Prerequisite: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement.
