Details about this class
This is a fully online course and the course does NOT have any required live virtual Zoom or in-person sessions that students must attend. There is no required textbook for this course. Each week students will read current and relevant articles and watch videos to learn about the environment and how it relates to human health. We will also explore how humans impact the health of the planet.
There will be weekly discussions and short quizzes that students will participate in. There are 4 assignments throughout the term. If you have questions please email: rachelle.katter@pcc.edu. I am happy to help or answer any questions you have.
Technology
There is no additional technology required for this class.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
