VT113 Veterinary Microbiology

Develops the knowledge and skills necessary to perform microbiology assays in a veterinary laboratory. Includes learning about the various pathological genus and species of bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Focuses on the various laboratory methods used in the identification of bacterial and fungal organisms. Prerequisites: Admission to Veterinary Technology program. (See course content and outcomes.)
