Details about this class
This is a fully online class, so there are no regularly scheduled meeting times, and you can complete coursework when it suits your schedule. Students may expect to spend at least 12 hours per week online working on this course.
Technology
Students must use Word 2019 or 2021 (Office 365) in this class.
MAC USERS: If you are using a Mac you may have difficulty accessing some functions of the Microsoft Suite. It is recommended that you either have the dual-booting system (Partition) that runs a Microsoft Operating system or use PCC Splashtop access to complete this course. You will not have access to all of the Word features required without Partition or Splashtop. MAC users needing Splashtop must inform their instructor as soon as possible so they can request Splashtop access be granted from IT. No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.

Before you take your first online class at PCC, you must complete the start guide for online learning. The start guide will help you decide if online classes are right for you. Once you complete the start guide, you will be eligible to register for online classes.
