Details about this class

This course is entirely online and will not have regularly scheduled meetings. Zoom meetings will be available via appointment if you need help. Recorded help lectures (where applicable) are also embedded in the weekly modules for additional support.  

Once registered and accessed D2L, click the Content page and review each Weekly module. Review the 'Intro to Online Learning' Section and your Class Information section for essential details. 

Finally... you must post your Introduction to the D2L discussion board and submit an Academic Integrity Statement to your instructor by 5:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the quarter to retain your spot in class.   Per PCC policy, students not completing this step will be dropped from the class. Thanks for your cooperation!

The cost for the required digital materials for this course, including the textbook, has been included in your class fee. Links to access these materials will be done through the weekly models in D2L. We will use the Publisher's learning platform, SIMNet, to complete assignments.

Required Software

Microsoft Office 

Students must use Excel 2019 (Office 365) in this course.

To complete this course, MAC users must have a dual-booting system (Partition) that runs a Microsoft Operating system, Windows computer access, or PCC Splashtop access. MAC users needing Splashtop access must inform their instructor as soon as possible so they can request it. 

Tableau for Students

This class requires the use of Tableau. Once the course begins, students will be given free access to Tableau.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
