Details about this class

This is an in-person lab and lecture at the Sylvania campus.

Registered students will receive a copy of the syllabus closer to the start of the term providing more details about the course.  If you would like more information before you register, please email Silvia Brossard (sylwia.brossard@pcc.edu [opens in new window]) to obtain a copy of an old syllabus. 

We will meet twice a week for lecture (Wednesday and Friday 2:00 pm - 3:50 pm) and lab (Friday 10:00 am - 12:50 pm) at the Sylvania Campus. You need to be able to attend all the in-person sessions in order to register for this class. No remote labs or lectures are available for this class.

Required materials can be viewed online at the Sylvania Bookstore website and include at a minimum:  the lab manual, a guided-inquiry workbook, and the online homework code with e-text.

Options this term for the required MasteringChemistry online homework code, which includes the full e-text:
- Access code available from the PCC Bookstore for ~$60.
- Access code available from the publisher for ~$50. Your instructor will provide a course-specific link for purchase.

Technology

There is no additional technology required for this class.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
