CIS278A Cisco 1 Intro Networks
Introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and other computer networks. Covers the fundamentals to build simple Local Area Networks (LANs), perform basic configurations for routers and switches, and implement IP addressing schemes. Part one of a three-course sequence to prepare for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching industry certification. Prerequisite: CIS 179 or instructor permission.
