Covers the principles of public health and sanitation as they apply to veterinary medicine and the veterinary technician. Emphasizes epidemiology, public health principles and regulations, zoonoses, and meat and food hygiene. Prerequisites: Admission to Veterinary Technology program. (See course content and outcomes.)
