WLD190 Maritime Welding Basics
Covers safety procedures and practices in a welding shop and in a shipyard environment. Includes basics of oxy-fuel and air carbon arc cutting (CAC-A) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Introduces common hand tools and their usage. Prerequisites: Department permission. (See course content and outcomes.)
