Anesa is a multilingual instructor of both German and ESOL. She holds a BA in International Business and MA in TESOL. She has been in pedagogy for almost 10 years and has taught at PCC since 2019. With a deep appreciation for the unique challenges students face when learning a new language, Anesa has honed a teaching approach that prioritizes practical, real-world speaking and listening skills. She firmly believes that language is a bridge to a richer, more interconnected world, and she is committed to empowering students to cross it with confidence.
ENGLISH: Anesa holds a Masters in teaching English, and has moderated and taught foundations of American English (ESOL) conversation and communicative competence for over seven years. Her mission is to empower speakers of other languages in their language learning goals and position them as experts of what they already know. Her instruction promotes fluency right from the beginning. She also specializes in communication training to employees working in global companies. With Anesa on their side, students identify opportunities and strategies to succeed in a new language and culture.
GERMAN: Anesa understands that German can be a complex and intimidating pursuit for learners. By using innovative techniques, diverse materials, and humor, Anesa helps students make a connection to the language and speak right from the start. This approach allows students to feel instant fluency and confidence. One of her other specialties is giving tips and tricks for German pronunciation.
