Fabric Needs for Ray’s American All Stars and Stripes

This pattern was created to be used as a Quilt of Valor, a quilt that is given to veterans who have been touched by war. With permission, we are making it as a quilt for ourselves or someone else, using whatever colors of fabric we would like. Mine will be made scrappy fabrics. Use your imagination when you gather your fabrics.
Fabric Needs:
(BLUE) 3 yards
(LIGHT) 2.5 yards
(RED) 2 yards
Batting: Twin size, 72″ X 90″
Backing: At least 72″ x 90″/ or 5 yards of 44″ fabric/ or 2 yards of 108″ backing
Binding: 2/3 yard
Please do not cut your fabric pieces until class. We will be making different methods to make the Flying Geese for the stars during the term.
