Have an assortment of synthetic nylon and hogs hair brushes that appeal to you (Rounds, Brights, Flats, Filberts). A pack of brushes could be a good buy. Don’t spend more than $5 per brush. At minimum you will need
brushes
2-3 bright or flat brushes: ¼” – 1” wide
1 (or more) round brushes: detail small to medium and 1 fan brush
1 house painting brush (approx. 1” – 2” wide, flat)
1 metal or plastic paint mixing knife, the white plastic one works fine.
Palette to mix paint on:
Acrylic is a heavy body paint and we mix it with a paint knife on a flat surface. You will need a flat palette for this class.
A disposable paper palette pad, 12×16” or 9×12” works well.
