1. Buy or borrow the textbook and buy the workbook.

2. Pay for class or submit your fee waiver documentation.

3. Pay for your parking permit $50.

4. English in Action 2: Read pages 2-3. Listen again.  (Choose Level 2, Student Book, Welcome Unit, Track 2, Track 3, Track 4, Track 5). Repeat and practice speaking.

5. Study for Quiz 1:

The quiz will have:

• listening to and recognizing capital and lowercase letters

• writing capital and lowercase letters

• word dictation

• spelling your first and last name

• spelling Portland, Oregon, the name of your country, and the name of your language

• listening to questions and writing the answers

• reading questions and writing the answers
