Check your e-mail to find out which class you’ll take in the spring. I am still deciding for some of you and may wait until Wednesday so I can hear your speaking for the book report. Taking Level 2 in the spring is not repeating the class. Very good students will continue two or three terms in Level 2, building their English skills. If you are continuing in Level 2, I will be your teacher and we will do new units in the book. If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail me or talk to me on Wednesday.

EIA 2: Review Unit 8: “Good Weekend/Bad Weekend, pp. 140-142” Here is the link to listen. Learn the new vocabulary on p. 140 and the new grammar (was/were) on p. 142.

Read your library book, write and practice speaking your book report. Wednesday book reports. Friday is the last day for book reports.

Correct your Unit 6 test. Don’t erase your first answer. Write your correction with another color pen on your test or on a new paper.

Work on independent practice #5 (due Friday)

Finish and turn in late (old) homework: Voicemail #3; simple present and present continuous paragraphs; Self-evaluation. Anything else?
Wednesday is our last computer class. Friday is our last class. If you borrowed English in Action 2 this term from PCC, please return it on Friday. If you are taking Level 2 in the spring, you can check it out again.
Next Monday we will not have a regular class. We will have a party to celebrate all your hard work. We will have a potluck and music.
