Here are the slides from today.

Today we reviewed the simple present (verb tense for every day) with he/she/it and worked more on the present continuous (verb tense for right now).

Here is the information I sent in the computer lab:

1. Read The ESOL Ambassador. I’d like to publish your family paragraphs in the winter ESOL Ambassador.
2. Do you need to e-mail me your family paragraph? If you started typing me a message but you did not finish, you can find the message in “Drafts”.
Do you need to fix it?  How can you make it better? You can introduce your family and include yourself. You can write about names, family roles, ages, jobs, languages, places where they live. Keep it simple. You can write about 5 sentences.
Here is my example:
                                                                                My Family
My family has four people. I am a mother and a wife. I am an English teacher. My husband is Dan.
He is a computer engineer. My son is Max. He is 10. My daughter is Lena. She is eight. I love my family.
Optional (you choose): We can print your paragraph in the ESOL Ambassador!
3. Watch videos about simple present and present continuous (present progressive)
Here is a summary of the homework:
  1. New: EIA 2: Review Unit 6 (read, write, listen, speak) p. 106.

  2. Old: Do you need to finish your family paragraph? E-mail it to me.

  3. Old: Do Voicemail #2 today or tomorrow.

  4. Old: Practice your English and send me an e-mail or voicemail or fill out the table about it! You can still do Independent Practice #2 or start on #3.
