French Bread: What to Expect & What to Bring

What to Expect
Here’s a Class outline: times are estimates…. the bread is in charge, not any of us.
Yes, we’re going to jump right in, almost from the start, throwing flour all over the place….!
What to Bring
Mandatory: Note – please mark your items with your name.
- 1, 2 quart mixing bowl
- 1, 1 quart mixing bowl
- 1 measuring cup (1 cup size is fine)
- dough mixing tool: long handled “flat” spoon or dough whisk if you have one, (though a standard butter knife can work as well)
- a mixing beater blade or small wire whisk
- a rubber spatula
- a sharp, serrated knife
Optional:
- apron (yeah, we’re going to get messy!)
Please make sure you label all of your personal items.
We will provide the ingredients, baking pans and miscellaneous materials.
You will receive a stainless steel, wood handled dough scraper to use in the class and take home with you! An essential breadbaking tool!
