My Teaching Philosophy

Believe in yourself!
I believe critical thought is essential to our daily lives. The work we do in this class is centered around critical thinking. Critical thinking can not only show us how to study the topic we are concerned with more deeply, but it also allows us to critique the system the topic resides within. Systems thinking is directly related to critical thinking and this course will help you develop a systems thinking approach to the socially unjust world our information resides within. Critical thinking not only allows us to see the injustices that are going on, but also to postulate what is causing these injustices.
