Meet Pollyanna
Pollyanna has been teaching 1:1 music and choral groups for over twenty years. Pollyanna was on the music faculty at Marylhurst University for 15 years, and she taught as adjunct music faculty at Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus. Currently she teaches classes through the PCC Community Ed. program.
Pollyanna Moody, soprano, has sung with the Light Opera of Portland and Fireside Carolers. She has been a featured soloist with many groups, including members of the Oregon Symphony, Light Opera of Portland, Vivace Voices, the Oregon Repertory Singers and Marylhurst Choral Union. She received her Masters in Vocal Performance from Portland State. She is also a certified Andover Educator, teaching body awareness and movement for musicians. Pollyanna Hancock-Moody has been directing choirs since she was 18 years old. Since then she has directed choirs at Marylhurst University, Portland Community College Rock Creek Campus, Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church and Lake Oswego United Church of Christ. She is currently the artistic director of Cantata Pacifica Community Choir.
