Week 6 (February 10 to 14, 2025) homework

Note:  Please try to finish the homework before the next class.  You don’t need to send it to me because we usually talk about the answers in class.  Also, when you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps me decide if you will be ready for the expectations of Level 4 or not.
Homework from class Monday, February 10, 2025:

1. Honorable Grandfather Chapter 2 audio  (<– Click here for the audio to Chapter 2 of Honorable Grandfather. The audio is on D2L, so you need your myPCC username & password.) Read and listen to Honorable Grandfather Chapter 2 — “Where are the Old People?”.  You can read and listen at the same time, read only, or listen only.  Circle new vocabulary words or other words or phrases that you want to remember.

Note: If you want to print out the entire story (Chapters 1 to 6), click here –> Honorable Grandfather complete packet.  You need your  myPCC username & password for this also.

4.  Extra video practice:  A Typical Day (from the Cutting Edge series) (<– Click here for the video. The video is on D2L, so you need your myPCC username & password.) This is from a series that PCC subscribes to. This video has good examples of time phrases to use for talking about routines and regular activities. For captions, click on CC at the bottom right of the video player. Note:  The videos are from around 2014, and a couple of the characters are a bit rude.  Can you tell which ones they are?
