Note: Please try to finish the homework before the next class. You don’t need to send it to me because we usually talk about the answers in class. Also, when you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps me decide if you will be ready for the expectations of Level 4 or not.
Homework from class Monday, March 10, 2025:
1. Grammar handouts (links below). Complete the grammar handouts I gave you in class. For extra writing practice, copy the exercises into your notebook. We’ll check your answers in class on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

3. Student Book page 140: Tornadoes <– Click here for the audio. Continue to read and listen about tornadoes. Make a list of words that are new to you, or that you want to remember. We’ll continue to read and talk about this in class on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

2. Student Book pages 140 & 141 — Review the information about tornadoes and look at the Reading Note at the top of page 141. Try Exercises A, B, & C. We’ll check these in class on Monday, March 17, 2025.
3. Listening, dictation & short answers about emergencies <– Click here for the audio. Listen and write the questions in your notebook. You can check your dictation here: English in Action 3 Workbook page 54, Exercise I script. Then write short answers. Example for #1: Do you have smoke alarms in your home? — Yes, I do. or No, I don’t. We’ll check your answers in class on Monday, March 17, 2025.
