Week 9 (March 3 to 6, 2025) homework

Note:  Please try to finish the homework before the next class.  You don’t need to send it to me because we usually talk about the answers in class.  Also, when you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps me decide if you will be ready for the expectations of Level 4 or not.
Homework from class Monday, March 3, 2025:

1.  Write affirmative & negative sentences with the information from this handout from class: Question practice: “Did you …………… last weekend?” Examples:  Josaffat didn’t cook last weekend.  Maritza cooked last weekend.  Please write you sentences on another paper in blue or black pen, skip lines, and write your name at the top.  I’ll collect the sentences  on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

2.  Workbook page 54, Exercise J <– Click here for the audio. Listen to the extreme weather warning and fill in the sentences in your workbook.  For extra writing practice, copy the exercise into your notebook. We’ll check the answers in class on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

4.  Video: Online Grammar Worksheet-Past Simple Qs & Short Answers <– Click here for the video.  Watch the video and listen to the questions.  Write the short answers in your notebook.  Some are with BE (example: Yes, it was. / No, it wasn’t) and some are with DID (example: Yes, she did./ or No, she didn’t.) The video gives you the answers. Note:  The video is on D2L, so you need your myPCC username & password.
