For more than 16 years, I’ve been joyfully teaching English as a second language in various parts of the world, from the Middle East and North Africa to Southeast Asia, and recently, the USA.
What I cherish most about teaching ESOL is the connections I build with my students both inside and outside the classroom. I strongly believe that learning flourishes in an interactive environment where both learners and teachers listen and learn from each other.

As an immigrant myself, I understand how important language is for fitting into a new culture and feeling at home. To me, my students are like family.
