  • Remember test on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.
  • 1.5:  1 – 7 odd.
  • 2.1:  1 – 61 work at least 15 problems.
  • Read 2.2 on formulas and memorize formulas in 2.2.3.
  • Write notes for 2.3 in your notebook.
  • 2.3:  3 – 30 by 3 (3, 6, 9, 12, etc.)  For problems with a., b., c., etc., just work any two for that problem.

  • 5.2:  Fill out table 2.2.18.  1, 2, 7 (First convert to inches), 11, 12, 21, 22, 25, 26, 37, 43.
  • 2.9:  5 – 7, 9 – 27 by 3.
  • 2.10:  55 – 97 every other odd (55, 59, 63, …).

  • 2.5: 69 – 81 odd and only a. Solve and check. Skip 75 a. and 77 a.
  • 3.1: 31 – 39 odd solve and check.
  • Review HW’s 5 – 6 for test on November 7, 2018
HW #7
  • 3.2 Put all answers on a number line, set builder notation and interval notation.  Problems:  25 – 37 odd.
  • 3.3  Solve equations containing fractions.  Problems:  21 – 39 odd, and 73.  Please find notes and and another example.
  • Practice test for Test #2
HW #8
  • 2.7:  Use A = PB.  14-16, 19, 20, 23, 25-27, 35-39, 41, 49, 54.  Answer worded problems with sentences.
  • Read 2.8 and 3.6.
  • Problems and notes will be sent on 3.6 later this week.
HW #9
  • 3.6:  9 – 39 by 3.  If there is a special solution of “no solution” or “all real numbers,”  make sure you write all four items from notes.
  • 2.8:  3 – 54 by 3.  Remember you do NOT have to write the original worded problem.
  • 3.4:  12 – 51 by 3.  Only do a. of problems with a., b., etc.
  • 3.5: will be given later

  • Read 3.5
  • Remember test on Wednesday on 3.3, 2.7, 2.8, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6.
  • Problems for 3.5:  3 – 24 by 3.  30, 33, 36, 45
  • Read these notes on graphing carefully.  Please use these steps.
  • Read over Chapter 4.
  • 4.2:  31, 33  Use Table of Values Method from Page 3 of notes.
  • 4.7:  27, 29  Use Method of Intercepts from Page 4 of notes.
  • 4.4:   11 – 15 odd  Use steps from Page 8 of notes.
  • 4.5:   29, 31, 39  Use steps from Page 9 of notes.
Final
  • Prepare for final by re-taking all three tests.  Please rework about half of the problems from HW #10.  Also rework problems from 12/5/2018 from 2.6.
  • Look at these notes and do problem 4.10#11.

For the time tables, write out each set of 12 equations, skip two lines then write out another set.  You may use up to three columns on your paper.  In general, we will not use columns because we want the entire width to do a problem.  Here is how the time tables should look:
