PCC Basic Needs Hubs

Basic Needs Hubs are a one-stop location for PCC students to find support for their basic needs concerns.  

Who We Are

PCC Basic Needs Hubs are a part of the Basic Needs,Sustainability and Leadership department. The PCC Basic Needs Hubs are staffed by a team of Peer Resource Navigators. Our Peer Resource Navigators are PCC students from the Human Services program who offer a peer-to-peer model of support. 

What We Do

We provide PCC students with information and referrals to basic needs resources like food, housing, transportation, and healthcare so they can focus on their personal, academic and career goals. 

Peer Resource Navigators help guide and assist PCC students with:

  • SNAP eligibility screening and applications
  • Oregon Health Plan information and applications
  • Accessing community free food resources
  • Navigating housing resources and referrals
  • Mental health provider search
  • TriMet Reduced Fare Program applications
  • Connection and referrals to on-campus and community resources to address their basic needs

Where the Hubs are Located:

Hubs are connected to the Panther Pantries at each PCC campus:

  • Cascade:  Student Union, Room 207
  • Rock Creek:  Building 5, Room 113
  • Southeast: Mt Tabor Building, Room 152
  • Sylvania:  CC Building, Room 216

When (Hub Hours): 

Hubs are closed for the summer term.   Fall schedule Coming Soon!
